Daddy's lil mechanic...

Kyle was out in the garage working on his 4 wheeler Thursday night, and all Kaylie kept saying was "I want to go Bye Bye" and pointing at the back door, when what she was really wanting was to go out in the garage with daddy! So, we let her go out there for a little bit. She kept going to his tools and bringing them to him. She would bring him a socket at a time... It was adorable. I think that she is going to be daddy's lil helper when she gets older. It started getting a little chilly out there so I decided that she needed to come in for a little bit, and "oh boy" she threw a fit! :o( Needless to say, she ended up back out there with him and she was in heaven!
Screw driver...? I think that it needs tightened.
Is this the one you are looking for? This one should get er done! Try this one.

Here ya go daddy...! You need your 3/8 inch wrench?

It's been interesting around here...

I took Kaylie bug into Urgent Care on Monday evening when she woke up from her afternoon nap and was running 101.3 fever. She had a runny nose, coughing & her eyes were red and watery, and kind of crabby at times for about 2-3 day prior. I just thought it was a normal nasty winter cold. Well, I got to Urgent Care and she was on fire, they took her temp and it had went up to 103.9 on the ride to Springfield. They took chest x-rays, and did a RSV test. The dr. came back in and said that her RSV test came back positive. They decided that since we live 45 mins from Springfield that they would go ahead and admit her to the hospital to keep an eye on her fever, and give her some IV fluids. I pulled up at Carol Jo Vechie and took her in to the lobby to get registered, and noticed that the fever felt like it had broke (they gave her Motrin before we left the dr's office) She then wanted down and by the time that Kyle got there she wanted down and to run around. I asked them if we really needed to be there since she was feeling better and they said "yeah" because her fever would probably start to go back up in the night etc.(which it did) So, we sucked it up and stayed. We didn't sleep good, but oh well.

Tara's little boy Carter was also diagnosed on Monday with pneumonia... (Which I am thinking that him and Kaylie both had the RSV and his turned worse) The poor little guy has been so sick. She was starting to get really worried, because her dr. didn't seem to concerned that he wasn't drinking much at all and had been running a fever up to 104.5 off and on for a couple days. I feel so bad for her and him. I wish they would just admit him and get him some fluids etc.

Needless to say there is all kinds of crap going around, and I am soooo ready for winter to be over!!! Now, I am not feeling 100% today, but oh well.

Kaylie is doing much better today (Wed) and has been free of a fever since last night. I will keep you posted, but hopefully we are on the upscale of this nasty virus.

Please keep Carter in your prayers that he starts feeling better soon too...:o(

Feeding the Gingerbread Doll!

Yes...Kaylie bug does usually match! :o) But we were gone all morning and came home and I took her jeans off and put some comfy pants on before I put her down for a nap. Just wanted to clarify that...:o) Ha! Ha!

She insisted on feeding her doll in her highchair, so I put it down to the lowest setting and she has been having a ball trying to feed her with her fake meausring spoon from her play kitchen, and has even offered the doll some of her milk out of her sippy cup. LOL!

Kaylie & Carter

Okay... So, I know I haven't posted since the end of December! I am watching Carter today while Tara went to her Dr.'s appt. Here is a picutre that I snapped of Kaylie and Carter sharing gold fish in her chair. I couldn't resist taking the picture, I thought it was so cute!
