Biopsy Results

The Dr's. office called yesterday with Kaylie's biopsy results already! The nurse said that the Dr. said that her results were remarkable, and he didn't see anything bad. So, we are going to keep her on Prevacid daily and then start giving her Reglin 3 x a day again (30 mins before she eats). The Reglin helps her stomach empty sooner.

Everyone keep your fingers crossed and keep us in your prayers that she outgrows this soon!

Kaylie's Scope Update

I know a lot of you have been patiently waiting to hear how things went with Kaylie's scope on Wednesday. Well, there's good and bad... The good is that he didn't see anything wrong as far as damage to the esophagus, stomach area (which means that the Prevacid that she has been taking for a year or so now is doing it's job) but the bad is that we are still waiting for the biopsy's to come back. He said he should have them back with in 1-2 weeks of her scope. He said that we may have to try some other meds etc...

I will post more after we get the results from the biopsy's back...

Sorry, it took me so long to post... We were in Missouri from Thursday-Sunday.

Let me tell ya...That mud is gooey! I got off of my wheeler to try and help him and I could barely get my feet back out of the mud once I stepped in it...I thought they were going to have to hook the strap to me and pull me out...LOL! It was like QUICK SAND.

We are going to Missouri the 17th-20th to ride and camp with some friends... Am looking forward to that trip and post pictures as soon as we get home.

Update on Kaylie

Well, for most of you already know... She has been taking Previcid for over a year now (They were thinking that she has acid reflux). We went and saw the Dr. (Specialist) again on Friday and since she is not improving on the previcid, he has decided that at her age she should have out grown it by now. He is going to do a scope and biopsy on April 16th. I will keep everyone posted on how things go and what we find out. We just want to get to the bottom of this and find out what is going on in there. The hard part is going to be, she can not have anything to eat or drink 8 hours before her procedure, and we are not scheduled until 11:30. The first thing that she usually does when she wakes up in the morning is ask for "Bite and Juice". So, I think that we will probably wake her up around 4-5 am and give her something to eat and drink to tie her over until she can eat again after her procedure.

Please keep us in your prayers that everything goes well, and we find out what is going.

Easter Egg Hunt...

Yesterday we went to my aunt's house for her daycare Easter Egg Hunt. This was Kaylie's first time hunting...:o) She had a blast and got lots of eggs with goodies. We want to Thank Tony so much for always including Kaylie bug in the fun activities that she has for the kids. Kaylie really enjoys it, and LOVES seeing her aunt Tony.

She's so onery...! I don't know where she gets it! WINK... She has taken over my shelf as her new bench for her to sit on and play. We watched her just push everything out of the way and back right up and take a seat.

We were taking advantage of the nice weather yesterday... Caught Kaylie eating rocks! YUCK! She quickly realized that they don't taste very good!

She has a fetish with wearing our shoes... As you can see she has my dock martin's on that are like 20x too big for her! LOL!

Roller Coaster Ride

We were over at Kyle's brother's house today, and they have a roller coaster in their basement for their boys to ride. This thing will shoot you clear across the basement... Kaylie rode it a bunch of times and LOVED IT!

My aunt has started her own photography business and was having a Easter Shoot with LIVE ducks today and tomorrow...So, we took Kaylie to get her pictures done. I was so shocked on how she acted with the ducks. I have some video that I will also add to the blog as well. She wanted all the ducks in her lap, she would get upset if one jumped out. :o)

At Grandpa & Nanna's house...

We were at my dad's house on Sunday, and Kaylie took her first horse ride ever. She didn't quite know what to think. But thought that it was funny watching my dad ride. I bet by next year, she will be ready for her own horse... "Hey Grandpa"! LOL

Here is a buffalo that is hanging in my dad's office, and Kaylie used to be so scared of it, but now she constantly wants to go in there and pet it!

We went to my cousin Susie's house in Joliet Saturday, and she has a playstation 3 with the drums, guitar, and microphone for the game "Rock Band". So, we were all playing around with it. Kaylie took the microphone and was the lead singer. It was so cute!

I think that she will be famous in no time! :o) She will be signing autographs after the show.

Daddy's lil mechanic...

Kyle was out in the garage working on his 4 wheeler Thursday night, and all Kaylie kept saying was "I want to go Bye Bye" and pointing at the back door, when what she was really wanting was to go out in the garage with daddy! So, we let her go out there for a little bit. She kept going to his tools and bringing them to him. She would bring him a socket at a time... It was adorable. I think that she is going to be daddy's lil helper when she gets older. It started getting a little chilly out there so I decided that she needed to come in for a little bit, and "oh boy" she threw a fit! :o( Needless to say, she ended up back out there with him and she was in heaven!

Screw driver...? I think that it needs tightened.
